A small tool for showing working ideas
ShowYourCode is an independent paste, render, and share tool for frontend code. It exists for the moment when a screenshot is not enough: you have a small HTML experiment, teaching demo, diagram, animation, or interface idea and want another person to interact with the real result.
The basic workflow stays deliberately short. Paste code into the editor, inspect it at desktop, tablet, and mobile widths, then publish a link. Creating a link does not require an account. An account is only needed when you want to manage, update, or remove a collection of your work.
How rendering is isolated
Untrusted code must not share the application's security context. Previews run inside a sandboxed iframe with an opaque origin. They cannot read the parent application's cookies, local storage, or authenticated session. Share pages are excluded from search indexing by default, and user submissions do not enter the public Gallery automatically.
Editorial and moderation policy
The Gallery is an edited collection, not an unmoderated stream. A submission appears there only after an administrator reviews and marks it as featured. We may reject or remove content that is deceptive, unsafe, illegal, infringing, adult, hateful, violent, or created mainly to send visitors to unrelated services.
Every share page includes a report link. Reports about phishing, malware, copyright, privacy, or personal safety receive priority. A direct share link may remain usable without being recommended publicly; removal decisions consider both safety and legitimate ownership requests.
Who operates the site
ShowYourCode is maintained by an independent software team led by Coding Hou. Product decisions, editorial examples, documentation, and moderation are handled by the team rather than generated automatically from community submissions.
ShowYourCode is not affiliated with CodePen, JSFiddle, GitHub, Google, or any browser vendor. Product and company names mentioned in guides belong to their respective owners.
Corrections and rights requests
If a guide contains a technical error, send the page URL and a short explanation to support@showyourcode.app. For abuse, privacy, trademark, or copyright reports, use abuse@showyourcode.app. Include the affected URL, the reason for the request, and information that helps us verify your relationship to the material.
